Hi. I'm Davee.

Welcome to my blog where I document my adventures in style, travel + all things MPLS. Mantra: I'm a firm believer that life is better all the way turnt up (keyword: turnt). Fair warning: I have a tendency to recite rap lyrics as a form of verbal communication (see last sentence for reference).

Perks of having a stylish boyfriend? - Getting him to pose for your blog & style himself #TwoFer - Thanks, boyfriend!

Jack refers to this look as "throwback 90s". Let's investigate further into what key items make this a cool/ideal outfit to wear at Basilica Block Party or any music festival:

Loud Sneakers: By that I mean statement, but I'm not sure he would appreciate me calling his Jordans a "statement shoe". Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure Jack beats me with his shoe collection, he is somewhat of a sneaker junkie and for good reason. We both believe in the idea of shoes making an outfit, so dudes - step up your shoe game (pun intended).

Rep your city: Case in point - Jack's Northeast MPLS basketball jersey (that he designed himself). This shirt choice doesn't need a reason other than the fact that we love our city, duh. If you're not creative enough to have designed your own MPLS jersey, wear a SOTA Clothing or Near North tee.

Wear a hat: This is pretty self explanatory, the hat is another way to make a personal statement, but keep cool (as seen in my ladies' edition of #whattowear to Basilica).

So dudes, hope my boyfriend's style has enlightened you with some sneaker knowledge + can't wait to see what you guys come up with at Basilica!
