somehow i never fail to go on vacation with the most analytical + organized friends. lilly was no exception, she created a very detailed excel spreadsheet and we crossed off just about everything on the list. efficiency game too strong, y'all.
our LA trip included: a surprising amount of hiking (griffith observatory & malibu creek state park), delicious brunch food @ huckleberry (one of the best brunch spots in the world according to travel & leisure) almost every morning, all you can eat bbq @ kogi king (salivating just thinking about this), tanning on the most peaceful beach (westward in malibu), a hilarious live-taping of conan o'brien, reuniting with friends & making new ones (gi gi @ the standard - whom lilly shared her entire life story with lol), finding the most epic phone case at a random vendor in the fashion district, farmer's market at the grove, in & out burgers, discovering that the blind barber is also a west coast thang, a beautiful morning jog along santa monica beach/pier, the most amazing view + brunch at malibu farm pier, the enchantment that is the LACMA lamps, coffee at my favorite hotel (the ace), one really weird yoga class and no sleep (cue wiz khalifa!!).
